The historic building we occupy was deeded by Cherokee County to the Cherokee Arts Council in September 1998.  For more than 20 years the Cherokee Arts Center has actively sought quality arts programs through the support and development of artists, art organizations and cultural programming.

We believe the arts and artists are essential to building strong community connections. These inter-community connections help to shape our social, physical and economic characters.

Our Mission

Enrich the quality of life by promoting, developing and coordinating excellence in the Arts.

Our Vision

We strive to be a center for the arts in North Georgia, serving Cherokee and surrounding counties. The Cherokee Arts Center will meet the needs and expectations of our community to provide the highest quality arts and cultural programs and events.
